Material consumption

Opus Indigo follows the principle of reducing, reusing and recycling material. The designs are aimed at reducing material consumption through improvisation and innovation.

Where most companies claim to be green by using green materials such as steel (the carbon footprint and embodied energy of steel is lesser than that of aluminium), MDF (a recycled material) and Low VOC paints, Opus goes one step further the components of Opus Indigo furniture can be reused to create a new ambience

Another interesting design feature is the Opus Indigo PowerTower which integrates lighting and wiring, thus

Energy usage

Opus Indigo PowerTowerTM has integrated lighting system that functions as general lighting as well as task lighting. These can also be operated individually and be switched off when not needed. This accounts for a huge saving in power consumption (the detail for which is given in the Value for Money section).
